TESTIMONIALS
Waqar Ahmed Age:35 Goals: Weight loss/ muscle mass
I joined the gym in January after a very difficult personal year. I was having relationship, financial and employment problems, low selfesteem and my confidence completely lost. I had gained a dangerous amount of weight through poor diet, no activity and depression. My doctor had told me I was on the verge of being obese, with other general health problems and my waist/hip ratio was dangerously high. My appearance was suffering, personality had changed from an outgoing person into a recluse and by December I was no longer the man I once was. For a 5'7 male with a 40 inch waist, it really was close to being a matter of life or death.
I forced myself to join the gym, but felt totally alien as I had never been to a gym in my life. they always seemed quite intimidating places, where I had imagined nothing but muscular, pumped up men strutting around like peacocks. I literally had no idea what to do, and so spoke to a personal trainer, a conversation that has since changed my entire life.
Kyle Marr was a completely dedicated professional. We spent time discussing at length what I wanted to achieve. Once Kyle knew my commitment, he designed plans, week by week, to help me burn the maximum amount of weight possible, as fast as possible, and simultaneously work on building muscle. During my first few weeks, Kyle was my full time permanent trainer. He could see I was uncomfortable in the gym and showed me how to use all the equipment in my own time. I remember my first plank exercise. My stomach was touching the floor it would hang so low! He made my training enjoyable. I was immediately training 5 days a week because I wanted to force the changes in myself, and it was fun because it was like training with a friend, who would make you push your boundaries, convince you not quit, push the extra reps, and break through the pain barrier, every single day. He was never complacent, and took his responsibility to me very seriously.
After six months of training with Kyle, my life was back on track. I have never felt healthier, stronger, leaner, attractive, confident and happier with myself than I do today. My self confidence is at its peak and I have since received an offer for my perfect job, relocating to London. I have lost over three stone in fat and gained a stone in muscle. My waist is sub 32 inch. And I owe that all to Kyle. Had I not been moving to London, I would still be using Kyle today

Josh Beaumount Age:21 Goals: Basic army training/ muscle mass
The training and experience that Kyle had given over the months that he trained me was excellent and invaluable. We started off with a mixture of endurance and strength training in order for me to get ready for the army,
this included a lot of press ups, sit ups, running and pull ups.
I was especially impressed with how my pull ups improved, from going from barely being able to do one to be able to ten consecutive ones.
Once my goals had been achieved through mock fitness tests and passing them at the highest mark we decided to
to change things up, and changed the training in order for me to gain some size.
Whilst throughout the training i had noticed a definite change in my body, i was bigger and leaner even friends had
noticed and taken time to comment on it. From this training i no longer avoided going to the gym and i try to go most days
of the week as I've started to enjoy it.
Since I've stopped seeing Kyle for training because of having to relocate I try to get in touch for some programs which he is able to provide and helps me a lot as I feel I have the confidence to be able to work as hard as possible in the gym environment without someone telling me what to do anymore.
Kyle was helpful during the training as he was very approachable, he was always ready for a laugh and you could ask him anything about the training without feeling stupid and he'd always help the best he could.
Josh has since took up a personal trainer course and will qualify in October 2013.

Gabby Ambler Age:18 Goals: Basic army training
I booked some sessions with Kyle after deciding to be a medic in the army and realising to my horror that there was a set of physical requirements which I would have failed immediately without Kyle's help. At first I was a little sceptical of booking these sessions however after the first one I knew that it was a very good decision. These sessions not only turned out to be extremely beneficial but also great fun! Instead of dreading going to the gym I quite looked forward to it as I knew that not only would I be having a productive work out but because Kyle was so friendly we could also have a laugh together (even if he did cause me to break and chip my nails on several occasions!!).
During the sessions we worked on press ups, sit ups, and running with some strength exercises for my upper back. The training we did produced great results as not only did I improve dramatically but I felt a lot fitter in myself from the training I completed. During the sessions I managed to increase the number of sit ups and press ups as well as achieving a much faster time on my running and I genuinely believe that this would not have been possible without the help and support of Kyle.
Kyle is extremely friendly and helpful. He always has a smile on his face and is extremely enthusiastic which definitely encouraged me to improve. When training with Kyle you can enjoy exercise as although you are in ridiculous amounts of pain he gives you the motivation to continue and you can 100% see the benefits. When I felt like I could do no more and wanted to give up he was there telling me that I could and how well I was doing and to push myself on and as a result of this I can see the results from the sessions.
I now feel confident for my assessment and a career in the army and I can not thank Kyle enough for all the help and support he has given me.

Roger rush Age:40 Goals: weight loss
I trained with Kyle for period of about 6 months. I explained my aims of reducing my middle age spread, and improving all round general strength and aerobic fitness.
Over the time I trained with him I achieved my aims. He took a very professional approach to individualising my training program - he didn't just turn up and make it up as he went along but instead would bring sheets of paper with a plan for the session designed to build on sessions that had already happened and that way I was able to see progress I have made.
For the last few weeks he put together a training program specifically to prepare me for a snowboarding holiday and I believe that it made a dramatic difference in terms of balance, core stability and leg strength.
The sessions are always hard work and sometimes I found myself wondering whether I'd be able to make it out of the gym without having a half-hour lie down first and the motivation comes from humour and helping you believe in yourself rather than shouting.
I had no major injuries while training with him, I am not a young man any more so minor twinges were to be expected but these were infrequent and he adapted my training plan intelligently such that all of these twinges were able to heal completely without turning into actual problems.
For real results 90% of the work has to come from yourself but I would certainly recommend Kyle as a personal trainer and feel that he could help you achieve your goals in a safe, professional, and enjoyable way.
